The Seedbank Team is responsible for seed storage at the central Touwsberg Hub. Their primary mandate is food security. Community members in Grace8 Hubs receive training in seed production. In this way, sustainability through propagation of fresh produce is ensured. Grace8 aims to propagate ethically, using organic methods that honour soil integrity.
To address corporate controls, the team concentrates on Ancient, Heritage and non-G.M.O. seed.
A Seedbank Library System will be established for quality control and accountability purposes.
Organic seed will be available for purchasing, as well as short course training for the public.
